Ambassador Huang Xing Presents His Letters of Credence to the President of Finland

On September 10, 2009, H.E.Mr. Huang Xing, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Finland presented his Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Tarja Halonen, President of the Republic of Finland in the Presidential Office.

President Halonen and Ambassador Huang held cordial and friendly talks. Ambassador Huang first conveyed Chinese President Hu Jintao's cordial greetings to President Halonen. He said that he would exert all his efforts to further promote the healthy and steady development of the Sino-Finnish relationship.

President Halonen welcomed Ambassador Huang, highly evaluated the friendly bilateral relations, and believed that Ambassador Huang would play his important part to further enhance the cooperation between the two countries in every field including political, cultural and trade, etc. during his tenure of office.

On August 31, 2009, Ambassador Huang presented the copy of Letters of Credence to Mr. Pertti Torstila, the Secretary of State of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and on September 8, 2009, called on Mr. Alexander Stubb, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Finland.
