Chinese Embassy in Finland Celebrates the 61th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China

On September 30, 2010, Mr. Ma Qiang, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Finland held a reception to celebrate the 61th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. 500 guests from all circles of Finland, foreign diplomatic corps, local Chinese communities, representatives of Chinese companies and students attended the reception, including former Prime Minister Mr. Esko Aho, former Speaker of the Parliament Mrs. Riitta Uosukainen, Deputy Speaker Mr. Seppo Kääriäinen,President of the Supreme Administrative Court Mr. Pekka Hallberg, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Mr. Pertti Torstila,  Chief of Defence General Ari Puheloinen, etc.

The reception was filled with warm and friendly atmosphere. The guests expressed their congratulations and spoke highly of the achievements of China's development as well as the Sino-Finnish relationship. They also expressed their willingness to promote the friendly cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
