Chinese Embassy in Finland Celebrates 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Finland

On October 27, Chinese Ambassador in Finland H.E. Huang Xing hosted a reception to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Finland. H.E. Tarja Halonen, President of the Republic of Finland, sent a written message of congratulations with a bouquet. Ambassador Huang and Secretary of State H.E. Pertti Torstila of Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland addressed the reception.

 
 

Ambassador Huang highly evaluated the progress of the Sino-Finnish relations during the past 60 years and expressed gratitude towards Finnish friends for their efforts in developing the relations between the two countries. He believed that with the concerted efforts of both governments and peoples, China and Finland would definitely build an even brighter future together.

Secretary of State Torstila expressed cordial congratulations to the 60th anniversary of China-Finland diplomatic relations. He warmly praised the fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation on politics, economics, science, technology and culture between the two countries. He also expressed his wish to bring the bilateral cooperation in all fields to a new high.
