Spokesperson's Statement from the Embassy of China in Finland
2020-04-08 11:30

The Embassy noted the matter mentioned at the press conference by the Finnish side on 8 April and is contacting the National Emergency Supply Agency of Finland to know relevant information regarding this matter.

China places great importance to the quality of export products. On March 31, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), the General Administration of Customs (GAC) and the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) jointly published the Announcement on the Orderly Export of Medical Supplies (No.5 2020) , requiring that test reagents, medical facial masks, medical protective suits, ventilators and infrared thermometers for export must be certified by state medical products administration departments and conform with the quality requirements of the importing country or region.

The Embassy would like to emphasize that China and Finland have maintained sound communication and cooperation since the outbreak of COVID-19. China is willing to continue to work with Finland and support each other in fighting the pandemic.
